It's Official now, Kill Bill Actor Michael Madsen is joining Anushka Shetty & R Madhavan for the International film "Silence". Silence will be shot in Telugu, Tamil and English simultaneously.

Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar has been working for his upcoming Telugu period-drama "Rudramadevi". "We are chasing a deadline and, therefore, want to finish the movie as quickly as possible. The film is nearly 30 percent complete. We have completed two songs and some important action sequences," Gunasekhar said.

Anushka Shetty is reprising the role of queen Rudramadevi, who was one of the popular women leaders of the Kakatiya dynasty. "She (Anushka) is a dedicated actress and knows how to extract the best out of herself. The biggest highlight of the film will be the stunts featuring Anushka, which she is doing on her own without any doubles," he said.

The ensemble cast of the film also has Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Baba Sehgal, Nathalia Kaur and Aditi Chengappa. The second schedule of the film will begin from second week of June. "We will start the second schedule in Hyderabad from next week. We are in the process of erecting a giant set in Annapurna Studios," said Gunasekhar. Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, the film is gearing up for an early release next year.

Reports are ensuring the fact that the hot kollywood star, Anushka is going to be seen in the leading role in Kollywood’s remake of Vidya Balan’s Kahaani. This film which has not been titled as yet is going to be made in Tamil and Telugu. Although official confirmation of the news is yet to arrive, talks about this have been in the air for a long time.

The Bollywood’s Kahaani had Vidya Balan in the main role. The movie was written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh has a budget of Rs. 8 crore. The movie was a superhit and collected Rs. 100 crore from the theatres. This film saw an unexpected success, making the film a great success in the Box-Office of Bollywood. It also gave actress Vidya Balan a new exposure and her fees rose to Rs. 7 crore after the success of Kahaani.

It is being said that the known film maker of Tollywood, Sekhar Kammula, has finally decided to make this film in Tamil as well as Telegu. The film which is about a pregnant wife looking for her husband in an unknown city has bagged great appreciation when made in Hindi. Anushka bagged Vidya’s role in the film. Other cast and crew are yet to be decided.

Anushka is very busy actress in South India. she was busy shooting for Prabhas’ upcoming film Mirchi and later she joined the sets of Karthi starrer Alex Pandian to wrap up the remaining portion of her part. At present she’s in Ramoji Film City where she’s shooting for Selvaraghavan’s upcoming bilingual film Brindavanam Lo Nandakumarudu. Arya is playing the lead role in this film.
The film is being simultaneously shot in Tamil as Irandam Ulagam. Earlier this year, the film was extensively shot in Georgia and there’s a lot of buzz about the film’s concept ever since Selvaraghavan claimed that he has managed to make the film when everyone else told him that it was impossible. Prasad V Potluri is producing the film and Harris Jayaraj is composing the music. The film is likely to release in early 2013. Anushka will soon be seen in Mirchi which is slated for release on January 11, 2013 and she recently agreed to play the lead role in Gunasekhar’s upcoming period film Rudrama Devi

 Anushka has done alway ready for experimental characters . One of her future projects is a period film, Rani Rudrama Devi. She plays the title role and the story is set in the 13th century. For this role, we hear she is getting to ready to wield swords and knives. She is undergoing special training to look good while performing these fight scenes, it seems.
Anushka is said to have allotted up to 5 months of her dates for this movie and has also decided not to accept any new projects until she completes work on this movie. The film is being directed by Gunasekar and Isaignani Ilayaraja is composing music for the film.

Many of Anushka’s contemporaries like Tamannah, Kajal and Trisha have ventured into Bollywood. But Anushka doesn’t have such ideas and she feels happy and satisfied to be a part of the Tamil and Telugu industries and intends to consolidate her status here. She somehow feels that she isn’t apt for Bollywood despite many offers knocking at her doorstep.
Her dates are packed now as she has many offers in Tamil and Telugu. Some of her future films include Rudramadevi, Singam 2 and Alex Pandian in Telugu and Tamil. This must be sweet news to her fans down South.

Most of Tollywood actresses are dubbing for themselves. Nayanatara dubbed for her character in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum . Tapsi and charmi also dubbing for their films. Now at present Aushka also decided to follow the same . Buzz has it that actress Anushka Shetty is all set to dub for herself in her upcoming movie, Mirchi.She is playing the lead opposite Prabhas in the movie.
Richa Gangopadhyay is playing the second lead in the movie directed by Koratala Shiva. Looks like the actress wants to make sure she does a good job of it.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the movie. The filmmakers are planning to launch the music next month. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati are the producers of the movie, under the UV Creations Banner. Billed a mass entertainer, the film is slated to release in first half of February.

Anushka becomes Tollywood's Munni

While Bollywood has one Munni, South Indian film industry has got two different Munnis to rock.  Known to all that the Kollywood remake of Dabangg titled as Osthi starrs Simbu in the lead role.  It has been reported earlier that sexy siren Mallika Sherawat has been signed to do the item song in Tamil which was performed by the sexy seren Malaika Khan in Hindi. Reportedly the actress has been paid a whooping Rs. 1.2 crores to do this item number in Tamil.

However on the other hand for the Telugu remake of Dabangg titled as Gabbar Singh, starring Pavan Kalyan as hero, will have actress Anushka Shetty as Munni to do the item song.  Well how much she has been paid is kept under wraps. So lets all get ready to watch the Munnis of the South soon!

The latest buzz is that heroine Anushka has walked out of Prabhas Rebel movie. According to film nagar sources, Anushka Shetty has decided to come out due to date clashes with Nagarjuna's Damarukam movie. It seems that the makers have taken Anushka dates but things have gone overboard and now looks unlikely to have this beautiful actress on board.  Prabhas Rebel has already completed more than half of the shooting and it'll be interesting to see how things shape up.
