Anushka’s stunts, highlights of Rudhramadevi

Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar has been working for his upcoming Telugu period-drama "Rudramadevi". "We are chasing a deadline and, therefore, want to finish the movie as quickly as possible. The film is nearly 30 percent complete. We have completed two songs and some important action sequences," Gunasekhar said.
Anushka Shetty is reprising the role of queen Rudramadevi, who was one of the popular women leaders of the Kakatiya dynasty. "She (Anushka) is a dedicated actress and knows how to extract the best out of herself. The biggest highlight of the film will be the stunts featuring Anushka, which she is doing on her own without any doubles," he said.
The ensemble cast of the film also has Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Baba Sehgal, Nathalia Kaur and Aditi Chengappa. The second schedule of the film will begin from second week of June. "We will start the second schedule in Hyderabad from next week. We are in the process of erecting a giant set in Annapurna Studios," said Gunasekhar. Directed and produced by Gunasekhar, the film is gearing up for an early release next year.

ANUSHKA EXERCISE WITH SWORD & KNIVES FOR NEW MOVIE RUDHRAMADEVI
TweetAnushka has done alway ready for experimental characters . One of her future projects is a period film, Rani Rudrama Devi. She plays the title role and the story is set in the 13th century. For this role, we hear she is getting to ready to wield swords and knives. She is undergoing special training to look good while performing these fight scenes, it seems.
Anushka is said to have allotted up to 5 months of her dates for this movie and has also decided not to accept any new projects until she completes work on this movie. The film is being directed by Gunasekar and Isaignani Ilayaraja is composing music for the film.

Chennai, Nov 7 (IANS) Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar says his upcoming film "Rudrama Devi" will be the mother-of-all period films.
Telugu actress Anushka, who rose to fame with her appearance in Telugu period-fantasy "Arundhati", will reprise the role of the queen.
"My film will definitely supersede the standards set by all period flicks to date. I've been contemplating this project for quite some time. I couldn't think of a better star than Anushka," Gunasekhar told IANS.
"Rudrama Devi" is the story of one of the prominent ruling queens who belonged to the Kakatiya dynasty. It will be made in a stereoscopic 3D format.
National-award winning art director Thota Tharani is set to work for the film and will recreate a long forgotten period era.
