Singam 2 is an upcoming Tamil action film directed by Hari, starring Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani in the lead, while Vivek and Santhanam play supporting roles. The film is the follow-up to Singam (2010) and will be produced by Studio Green.

PRODUCTION

Casting

Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani are the lead ladies of this project. Hari has also repeated Vivek, Vijayakumar, Nassar, and Radha Ravi from the first part. Prakash Raj has been left out while Rahman and B-town baddie Mukesh Rishi have been added to the cast. The music will be by Devi Sri Prasad who rocked in Singam with his foot tapping music. Priyan will handle the camera.

Filming

The film will be canned in Chennai, Hyderabad, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Karaikudi. For the first time ever, Hari will cane some of the songs, important scenes and fight scenes in South Africa and Kenya. And while coming to post production V.T.Vijayan Has started to prepare for his edit with his assists and equipment.
